What’s Included: RFX MEAT, RFX GATEWAY, RFX MEAT charging block, RFX GATEWAY, power adapter and USB cable, Pro-Series Air Probe and grate clip, Probe rings.

  • On a full charge, it can run for approximately 24 hours. You can choose how often it sends readings to your device. Quick Cooks (Under 5h) 1.0 °C/F intervals. Medium Cooks (5-15h) 1.5 °C/F intervals. Long Cooks (15-65h) 3.0 °C/F intervals.

  • Those built into meat probes—often produce inaccurate readings. This is because they’re positioned near the meat, which acts as a heat sink and can reduce the apparent ambient temperature by up to 24°C.

  • Oven cooking. BBQ – ideal for grilling, smoking, and rotisserie cooking on any type of BBQ. Air fryers & pressure cookers. Deep frying – fully submersible and accurate, even in hot oil. Sous vide.

  • You can wrap your meat in foil, but make sure the top of the probe stays exposed. Push the probe through the foil and ensure the section above the minimum insertion line isn’t covered.
