Great value
I have an Ally X and my partner wanted a handheld, for £449 this was a NO brainer, instant buy specially considering today’s prices for RAM and M.2 storage. The battery life is not it’s strongest point but it does the job. Overall great screen and love the blue/purple color from Lenovo, it’s quite matte and looking more expensive than what it is.

Great but if kit so far
Well I got it for a much cheaper price buying a mint pre owned which looks like someone bought it opened it and sent it back so score… first time buying a hand held since the original psp and it feels like someone’s strapped a ps5 to the back of an iPad, the screens massive on it and the controls are easy enough to get used too. This is coming from someone who’s only really used mouse and keyboard for gaming for the past 15 years so if I can use it anyone can! Easy to set up to switch on and signed into steam then started downloading games, the only draw back for me is the noise of the fans and the sound, looking to buy a pair of beats or something to go with it but it’s ideal for those long car journey trips away for the kids

Grab itbo
If your looking for a Steam Deck but don’t want to pay the new Steam Deck prices, I’d highly recommend this as an alternative. Currently at under £500 its a bargain., especially for 1tb of storage. I’d grab it while you can, as prices for these handhelds are increasing so not sure how long it will be under £500

Nearly but not quite
Owned one but sent it back as I’ve got a Odin 2 Portal. Games looked brilliant on the display but the battery was shocking that’s the reason why I ultimately sent it back. Its a good device…. would be great with a better battery

Dissatisfied with so called tested items
Item was looking like in perfect condition until tried using it but the top right trigger button was stuck wouldn’t move but the item had no scratches and looked new very disappointing for an item that is meant to be checked and tested etc but clearly missed this major issue

Love it
Best console Ive ever owned, got my steam library, emulators and wow on it. Some of the latest games you get bit of frame skippin n dippin but nothing that bad. Only thing I would change is the position of the right joystick, makes reaching for R bumper/trigger strenuous after an hour or so.

SteamOS for the win.
This is shockingly good for the price. I had an Asus Rog Ally and I hated it so much I sent it back. This only has one flaw and that is the battery life. As I’m using it on the couch next to a plug socket, this is not an issue for me.SteamOS is incredible and without it, this wouldn’t be a very good handheld.I use it for steam games such as Cyberpunk 2077 and PS2 emulation, both of which play and look fantastic. It is a big and cumbersome device, but the controls are excellent, and the 8 inch screen is beautiful and handles motion very well, as it has VRR.I love this thing.

Unbeatable for the price – Very capable
I was dubious at first, however, I have many AAA games on steam and the legion Go S handles them without incident. I was very surprised. Low to medium settings and no problem, even on quiet mode. The battery is ok but it won’t last as long as the Asus Rog Ally X or the Legion Go 2. I’ve ducked 1 star for that. However, 2 hours is not a problem running pretty high end games. Running steam os is what the Go S was designed for. Definitely worth the money in my opinion.
